My grandma had some bladder infections the last time. Than she got a bad cold and she thought another bladder infection because she had bad pains. So she went directly to the hospital. Than the shock, she called us and told us that she has to stay in hospital. They made a lot of medical examinations there.
The result was shocking!! Cancer!! I don't find the right word for the kind of cancer. It concerns the Lymphs (in german: Lymphdrüsenkrebs)! It's so terrible, she is such a kind person, always helpful. She was always looking about my kids. We had so much funny moments together. And she's a great grandma. I'm so sorry about it.
She is at home now and she needs another chemo end of september. It reall hurts to see her so helpless and suffering. My mother and I try to make it comfortable for her as much as we can.

I am so sorry to hear this. I has been hard to hear about Aunt Ursel as well. I hope that they both will make it through and feel better soon.
Yes I hope the same. I'm always in contact with Ursel and Teddy. I spent a lot of time with them in my summer holidays and it's hard to hear such things about people you love.Thats why it is important to do the things you like, if it's possible. And as much and often you can.
It's so sad to have to watch the ones we love suffer, and it's so hard when we can't make it all better. Grandmas are so special. I'm sorry your family has to see her like that. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks Steph and Jessi for your sympathie.
