We are all very, very sad!!!!!

I'm so glad and grateful that I could visit her and spent a few nice days with her and Teddy again. Thanks a lot that I always could be a part of you and for spending many times in England. I enjoyed and loved it.

Shocking!

My grandma had some bladder infections the last time. Than she got a bad cold and she thought another bladder infection because she had bad pains. So she went directly to the hospital. Than the shock, she called us and told us that she has to stay in hospital. They made a lot of medical examinations there.
The result was shocking!! Cancer!! I don't find the right word for the kind of cancer. It concerns the Lymphs (in german: Lymphdrüsenkrebs)! It's so terrible, she is such a kind person, always helpful. She was always looking about my kids. We had so much funny moments together. And she's a great grandma. I'm so sorry about it.
She is at home now and she needs another chemo end of september. It reall hurts to see her so helpless and suffering. My mother and I try to make it comfortable for her as much as we can.

Marriott Hotel and firework

Our friends invited us to an event on Saturday(the event was from the firm from our friend). First we enjoyed real delicious food in the Marriott Hotel. After eating we all went on a ship, driving on the Neckar and passing the snack bar from my parents. They were all standing there and waving. There was music on the ship and we could dance a little bit (good after all this food)! Then we "parked" on the river under the Heidellberg castle. It was already dark outside and we could enjoy the fantastic firework. There are 3 or 4 fireworks in the year, really famous. I think Marianne will remember about this. Then we went back to the Hotel straight into the bar! There we had finaly a good cocktail. And home with a cab.
Thanks a lot Martina and Kurt for this fantastic evening. I'm very pleased that we could share one of this rare evenings with our friends!
